Some Other Uses For Soap Nuts

Insecticide: As you are most likely already aware, soap as a general rule makes a good pest deterrent for your plants. Soap nuts are no exception! Simply take some of the soap nut liquid, pour it in a spray bottle and spritz your plants to deter the bugs. As it is a mild insecticide, any current bug squatters that are freeloading off your beautiful plants or vegetables will be evicted. In the case of edible foliage, fruit, vegetables or berries, just rinse before consuming and enjoy the bug-free food that didn't require harsh chemicals to get that way.
